Vashti Center for Children and Families

With God as our cornerstone, we foster healing, hope, and transformation to empower and promote resiliency in children, families and communities in Georgia.  Since its inception in 1903 as a mission of the United Methodist Women, The Vashti Center has worked with children and youth with a variety of challenges.
Vashti Needs

​The Vashti Center in Thomasville is in need of the following items: Sunscreen, feminine products, 3-in-1 body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for males, lip balm (Chapstick, Carmex, or Burt’s Bees), shampoo and conditioner (for all hair types), hair combs and brushes, men’s flip flops, Bibles (The Guidebook or The CEB Student Bible), hair care products, toothbrushes and toothpaste, non-aerosol deodorant, bath linens, laundry baskets/hampers, bed linens (twin size), comforter sets (twin size), pillows and pillow covers, board games and jigsaw puzzles, frisbees, footballs, basketballs, and soccer balls.
 
If you would like to donate any of these items, please bring them to the Church Office, and we will see that they get to Vashti. Thanks for ministering to these young people in need!
