United Methodist Committee on Relief is at work in Decatur County
The United Methodist Committee on Relief is committed to being “the first in, the last out” in areas of disaster. We know first-hand how long it takes to recover from Hurricanes. UMCOR often is the sign of grace and hope when other avenues (insurance, FEMA, etc.) have been exhausted. Hurricane Relief
Hurricanes have ravaged the south coast in recent years. Many people are trying to help. As United Methodists, we are fortunate that we know how to help. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) are experts at partnering with local officials to bring help to those who are suffering and those who need it most. UMCOR’s administrative costs are funded through special offerings and apportionments so that 100% of your gift to a particular disaster goes to those affected. If you would like to give to help those in need, simply note “UMCOR” or “Hurricane Relief” and we will forward your gift where it can do the most good. |
