Epworth by the Sea Six 3rd and 4th graders attended the annual KidzQuest retreat along with chaperones Mandy Moye, Todd Martin and Ida Cooksey. It was a super weekend full of learning, praise and worship and loads of fun. The children were wonderful ambassadors of our church. |

Kidz Quest is Coming!
KidzQuest, the annual children’s fall retreat sponsored by South Georgia’s Connectional Ministries is for students in 3rd-6th grades. This event typically sells out before the deadline and brings so much energy (and noise!) to the grounds of Epworth By The Sea retreat center on St. Simons Island, GA. Five hundred children and adult leaders come together with dozens of other church groups, learning how to worship, study God's Word, and understand what a relationship with Jesus really means. Amidst beautiful coastal scenery, amazing adult leaders (that's you!) and time away from home - these children are given an opportunity to experience Christ in brand new ways! Registration is OPEN at https://sgaumc-reg.brtapp.com/KidzQuest2019. Payment is required at time of registration in order to be complete. Registrations received without payment will be considered PENDING, and payment must be received within seven days or registration will be dropped. Space is limited to the first 500 complete registrations. After the event is full, registration will close, and a waiting list will begin. Deadline is September 9, 2019. The cost for the retreat is $150 per person and includes meals, cabin lodging, insurance, t-shirt, and programming. |

2018 THEME & LEADERSHIP
Forrest Davis mixes together the elements of fire, juggling clubs, knives and a unicycle or two. Using feats of balance, juggling and slight-of-hand, Forrest helps kids uncover truth in God’s Word that leaves a lasting impression.
Having interned under Keith Coast and Jesse Joyner, Forrest gleaned important lessons from these professionals, such as: mastering the five-ball pattern, setting one’s tongue on fire and how to bring God’s Word to life in an engaging way. As a young protégé, Forrest started juggling and balancing at 12 years of age and quickly progressed. The son of a children’s pastor, he easily added a list of credentials, which includes camps, church ministry, talent shows, the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, youth groups and Upwards events. Registration is OPEN.
Payment is required at time of registration. Space is limited to the first 500 paid registrations. Deadline is September 10, 2018.
