Anyone knowing a veteran, please invite them to help us learn about patriotism, and flag etiquette.
We will practice on November 7, folding flags and doing a flag ceremony by flying the US flag at our Cub Scout hut...and practicing for the retirement ceremony.
On November 21, we will have a flag retirement ceremony and invite our veterans to join us for dinner. The ceremony will be first, and then dinner in the JO Smith Building. Scouts and Cub Scouts will partake along with veterans in the ceremony.
Please have anyone who is coming November 7 & 21, that is either a service member or veteran, call the Church Office (229-246-1864) to let us know you are coming.
