On August 14, 2024, the Affiliation Committee presented it's recommendation to our Church Council to join the Global Methodist Church.  This recommendation was made after much research into different Methodist/Wesleyan denominations that this church might consider joining after disaffiliation from the UMC.  The Church Council then voted to send this recommendation to a church-wide vote, which will be on Sunday, September 8, 2024 immediately following the 10:30 am service.  Only members of Bainbridge First Church will have a vote.  Those that qualify were members of BFUMC and have transferred membership from BFUMC to Bainbridge First Church by filling out the form.  Anyone that has not done this has until September 1 to get that completed and turned in to the office to be able to have a vote.  Nursery and programming for children will be available during the time of voting.
